Green Rater Conventional Track

The Conventional Track is designed for most USGBC Green Rater Applicants. Anyone who has not already had experience rating homes (at least 3) using the LEED for Homes Rating System, must take the Conventional Track.

Getting Started

The vast majority of potential Green Raters will take the Conventional Track. Contact us so that we may guide you through the process.
To become a USGBC Green Rater you must complete the LEED for Homes Green Rater Eligibility Requirements.
Once the Eligibility Requirements have been met, you must apply for the LEED Green Rater program with the USGBC.
Once you have been accepted by the USGBC, you can sign an E3 Green Rater Agreement, establishing a relationship between you and E3 Building Sciences. You can then register for the Green Rater classes.
You must complete 5 online courses and then one two-day in class workshop. (See chart below for more detail.)
After you have completed your course work you may apply and take your Green Rater Exam.
If you have not already done so, contact us so that you may sign a E3 Green Rater Agreement.
Our Green Rater Mentorship Program is designed to get you in the field and learning.
Once you have finished the Mentorship Program you can obtain the LEED for Homes Green Rater Certificate.
